Trained in painting at Leeds College of Art, England and in Dornach, Switzerland with Gerard Wagner. Art therapy training at the Dr. Margarethe Hauschka School in Germany. Art therapist and teacher in England until 1993. Since 1995 teacher at the painting school at the Goetheanum.

Karin Joos, born in Chile 1952. Studied painting at the Painting School at the Goetheanum with Gerard Wagner and Elisabeth Koch. Studied painting therapy in Unterlengenhardt , DE and in Dornach, CH. Further training in learning support teaching. Since 1994 in curative education as class teacher in
Brachenreuthe / Überlingen , Germany and now at the "Sonnenhof"
in Arlesheim, Switzerland. Gives painting courses abroad and in Switzerland.

Where is Dornach?

Dornach is about 10km from Basel in Switzerland. From the SBB Railway Station in Basel the journey to the Dornach Railway Station takes 30 minutes on the tram (number 10) and 10 minutes by train (direction: Laufen). From the station you catch the number 66 bus which stops a few minutes’ walk from the school. The bus stop is called Ober-Erli.
